Edgewater Cowl Free Crochet Pattern

The Edgewater Cowl uses the same stretchy, textured stitch combo as the Edgewater Hat, making it SO cozy and warm!

All you need is one skein of Mandala Ombre yarn or approximately 344 yards of worsted weight (#4) yarn! I love how soft and squishy this yarn is, and the color changes are gorgeous! 

I’ve also recently made it with 2 skeins of Knit Picks Chroma Twist Worsted and love how it turned out!

This cowl is a quick project that you will love to make for family and friends! Don’t forget to make yourself one too!

This will make a lovely set with the Edgewater Hat! This hat is a bottom up, brimmed hat with the same amazing texture and coziness!

Stitch Tutorial:

Materials

340 yards worsted weight (#4) yarn

I/9 (5.00mm) crochet hook

Scissors

Measuring tape

Yarn needle

Difficulty

Easy

Gauge

With fsc row, 14 sts x 7 rows = 4”

Sizing

14” x 13” laid flat

 Pattern Notes

 Starting chain does not count as first stitch, unless stated otherwise within the pattern.

Gauge is not necessary. If sizing is a little bit off that is fine. Feel free to customize it as you see fit.

Edgewater Cowl Pattern

Round 1: FSC 98, join to 1^st st. (98)

Round 2: Ch 2, turn, 1 blo dc in 1^st st, 1 flo dc in next st, *1 blo dc in next st, 1 flo dc in next st*, repeat from * around, join to 1^st st. (98)

Rounds 3-25: Repeat round 2.

Round 26: Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each st around, join to 1^st st. (98)

Fasten off. Weave in ends.
