Kristen Scarf Free Crochet Pattern

The Kristen Scarf is a beautiful matching piece to the Kristen Slouch!

This crochet scarf is so versatile and customizable! You can make it as pictured, or sew the ends together to create an infinity scarf, or even make it shorter to create a cowl! You can make it all one color, like I did, or use some self striping or gradient yarn!

It is an easy project to get creative with!

Pattern Details

The Kristen Scarf was made with Lion Brand Yarn Touch Of Alpaca. This yarn is a worsted weight (#4) made from 90% acrylic and 10% alpaca. It has a very nice rustic look to it. It comes in 16 beautiful colors!

However, feel free to use any worsted weight (#4) yarn you prefer for this project.

The pattern is rated Easy in difficulty level. You need to know how to half double crochet and slip stitch. It would also be good to know the Chainless Foundation Single Crochet stitch.

If you prefer to make it an infinity scarf just sew the ends together with yarn and your yarn needle.

Row 1: FSC 30. (30) (You can also chain 31, turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across.)

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sl st into 1st st, 1 hdc in next st, *sl st into next st, 1 hdc in next st*, repeat from* across. (30)

Repeat row 2 until scarf is 60” or desired length. Fasten off. Weave in all ends
