Are you an avid reader with book-loving friends? This charming, easy-to-make crochet bookmark is the perfect handmade gift for your fellow book besties!

The Book Bestie crochet bookmark pattern is beginner-friendly and quick to create. Make a few as thoughtful stocking stuffers, or give them to co-workers, teachers, or friends for a delightful, personal touch!
The Yarn
I chose a sport (#2) weight yarn for this crochet bookmark, WeCrochet Comfy Sport. It is thin, making the bookmark not too bulky in the book, and it is a cotton blend which keeps it sturdy and holds it’s shape.
Comfy Sport is made with 75% Pima Cotton and 25% Acrylic. It comes in a large variety of beautiful colors! It can also be machine washed and dried.
It is one of my all-time favorite yarns, and it works so well for this crochet bookmark project!

Bookmark Details
The Book Bestie crochet bookmark measures 2″ wide by 6″ long. It can easily be adjusted to be longer by simply adding more rows.
It is beginner friendly, using only chains and the double crochet stitch.
