Sadie Blanket -Crochet Fantail Stitch Baby Blanket

The Sadie Baby Blanket features a stunning fantail stitch combo and is made with soft DK (#3) weight yarn, making it the perfect handmade gift for any new mom and her little one.

Fantail Crochet Stitch

I used this beautiful fantail stitch combo, which is a four row repeat, to create the body of the blanket. The stitches are very basic and easy, but combined they look absolutely stunning!

I’ve created a quick stitch tutorial for this stitch combination for you to follow if you need some visual aide.

The Yarn

I made this baby blanket using Yarnspirations Caron Skinny Cakes! This yarn is a self-striping DK (#3) weight yarn. It is 100% acrylic and can be machine washed and dried. I comes in several colorways, and I used the colorway called Cupcake.
