Have you ever crocheted the Wattle Stitch?
If not, I’ve got a fun and quick project for you, and you’ll learn a new stitch as your work it!
The Wattle Stitch Washcloth crochet pattern is simple, beautiful, and useful!
Crochet Washcloth Uses
I absolutely love crochet washcloths! They make great decor for your kitchen or bathroom, and they are very useful!
When made with the right yarn, a crochet washcloth can be used to clean up messes, wipe up spills, clean pots and pans, and can even be washed and dried in the machine!
I have washcloths that I’ve crocheted years ago that I’m still using in my kitchen! They are so great!
They make lovely gifts as well. I love to make a set of 3 or 4 and fold them nicely and tie a bow around them for a nice handmade gift.
Best yarn for washcloths?
I personally believe that a 100% cotton, worsted (#4) yarn is the best yarn for a crochet washcloth.
I like to use WeCrochet Dishie yarn for my washcloths most often. It is a great worsted (#4) weight cotton yarn that comes in so many beautiful colors! It can be machine washed and dried, and holds up so well even after many washes!
