The Friendship Scarf is a very simple and basic scarf with a fun stitch combo that gives it a great texture!
Pattern Inspiration
This simple crochet scarf design was inspired by the Friendship Hat! These designs are simple, unisex, and great for gifting to friends! The scarf and hat easily makes a great matching set!
I chose a fun stitch combo featuring the extended single crochet and the extended half double crochet stitches. This creates a great texture within the design.
This crochet scarf can be made as one long scarf or with the ends sewn together to create an infinity scarf!
Pattern Details
The Friendship Scarf crochet pattern calls for worsted weight (#4) yarn. For my sample, I used Felici Worsted from WeCrochet.
Felici Worsted is a fun, self-striping yarn that comes in a variety of colors! It is 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon. This yarn is great if you want something colorful without the trouble of changing colors often.
The pattern is rated Easy in difficulty. The scarf is worked in rows. Sewing the ends together to create an infinity scarf is optional.
