The Enchanted Dreams Mini Slouch crochet pattern creates a fun and warm textured mini slouch! This hat looks great in any color combo and comes in four sizes so everyone can have one!

Pattern Inspiration
I was inspired to make this crochet hat pattern after participating in the Battle of the Stitches and designing the Enchanted Dreams Cape for it. The Battle of the Stitches was a fun competition for crochet designers. We were given a specific stitch to use and had to design a pattern using that stitch for the majority of our design. Then we were judged on our final design. It was a lot of fun!
After designing the cape, I knew I wanted to make more with this fun stitch, called the Tri-Square Stitch. The tri-square stitch uses a combination of front post double crochet and back post double crochet to give it it’s amazing texture!
So, I went to work on designing a hat with this stitch combo, and decided on a mini slouch. This bonnet style hat was super trendy when I was designing this and so I wanted to give it a try too! I love the pixie feel it gives and how cute it looks on everyone!

The Yarn
My most recent Enchanted Dreams Mini Slouch hat is made in WeCrochet Mighty Stitch yarn. This is one of my favorite worsted weight yarns!
Mighty Stitch is 80% acrylic and 20% superwash wool. It is very soft with a beautiful shine to it! It comes in over 30 colorways. I used the colors Spruce and Cream for the crochet hat pictured above. This yarn can be machine washed and dried, making it perfect for gifting.
This crochet hat pattern is worked from the bottom up, with the trim and pom added at the end. It is rated intermediate in pattern difficulty because of the front and back posts throughout the hat.
The pattern comes in 4 sizes from toddler to large adult. The hat has a slight slouch to it, which is why it is called a mini slouch!

I totally love your designs. Unfortunately, it is Christmas so mind is on ornaments. So here is an idea for next Christmas. I think your “extreme dream slouchy” ( memory shot – I might have that slightly wrong) anyway, would make a wonderful mini hat ornament. I think many of your fashions would be fantastic in miniature. Keep up the good work.
