Crochet Vest Pattern - Flowers & Showers Vest

The Flowers & Showers Vest Pattern crochet pattern is open and airy which makes it a great layering piece!

Pattern Inspiration

I wanted to create a versatile vest vest that could be worn any time of the year! Wear it with long sleeves for fall or winter, or pair with a sleeveless dress for the spring and summer.

I went with a fun boho style stitch combo and love how it turned out. It creates a bit of texture but keeps it airy and lacy!

Pattern Details

The Yarn

I used WeCrochet Mighty Stitch worsted yarn for the vest pictured in this post. Mighty Stitch is a wool/acrylic blend with a beautiful shine to it! It is so soft, but very sturdy also. It can be machine washed and dried. Mighty Stitch comes in a big variety of colors, so you’re bound to find some that you like!

Sizing and Workup

This vest is written for adult sizes XS/S, M/L, XL/XXL.

It is worked from the bottom up in rows, and then split into three panels at the top to create the armholes. The pattern contains a number of fun stitch combos that change with each row to give it the boho look and feel.

This crochet vest pattern is rated Intermediate in pattern difficulty. The crochet stitches are very basic and simple but there are some decreases and shaping throughout the project.
