About Tarragon
The Tarragon Scarf was one of those designs inspired by the stitch. I originally used this stitch pattern for one of the sweaters, but found it too bulky and boxy for a garment. So I decided to use it for a scarf and I’m so pleased with the look.
The post stitches in the scarf give it a cabled look without doing too much. It’s crisp, clean, and simple, which is usually how the guys prefer it.
The ribbing trim gives the ends a unique and sophisticated look.
This scarf looks great worn with a favorite sweater, shirt, or jacket. It is both stylish and warm, so it’s great for the cold months of winter. Wear it to a special event, or just every day to work or play.
The Yarn
WeCrochet Wool of the Andes Worsted is used for this men’s crochet scarf. WOTA is made of 100% Peruvian Highland Wool and comes in skeins of 110 yards. You’ll have plenty of colors to choose from, with over 90 colorways included!
If you want to use a different yarn, the following will make great substitutions:
Brava Worsted – 100% acrylic
Swish Worsted – 100% fine superwash merino wool
Mighty Stitch – 80% acrylic, 20% superwash wool
Heartland – 100% acrylic
Jeans – 100% acrylic
