The crochet primrose stitch is a beautiful combination of basic crochet stitches. This stitch is lovely for lacy crochet tops, blankets, or anywhere you want an open stitch with a dainty and pretty feel. This primrose stitch crochet tutorial will tell you everything you need to know about how to make this stitch.

The Primrose Blouse: A Primrose Stitch Crochet Pattern
Primrose Blouse – This babydoll style lacy crochet top I use the primrose stitch all through the bottom and the sleeves in the Primrose Blouse. This pattern also uses the Herringbone Double Crochet.
Yarn and Hook Used in the Crochet Primrose Stitch Tutorial
For this tutorial, I used Knit Picks Comfy Worsted, a soft and squishy cotton/acrylic blend that’s perfect for clothing like this. You can use any yarn you have on hand for learning the stitch. But if you want to crochet the Primrose Blouse, this is a great yarn for it!
I also used a Furls Streamline Wood Crochet Hook in size I/5.5 mm.
