The Savannah Sweater crochet pattern is a basic crochet sweater with tons of amazing texture and two collar options!
This crochet pullover sweater can be made in both adult sizes and children’s sizes!
Pattern Inspiration
I am a huge fan of basic sweaters. I’m not big on frills or fancy. I just like a comfortable and cute top to wear. So I set out to design just that!
I went for a top down workup with a beautiful texture! The ribbed trim around the neckline, sleeves, and bottom just add to the basic sweater vibe.
I love the fit of this one too! Just enough positive ease to be comfortable, but overall pretty fitted.
When I created the children’s size, I knew I wanted it to be a unisex sweater, so I created a different neckline option to make it a little more masculine. But really either neckline will look great on anyone!
This crochet pullover sweater is just perfect for pairing with jeans, work slacks, or make it longer and wear it with leggings!
Pattern Details
The Savannah Sweater crochet pattern calls for worsted weight (#4) yarn. I used Mighty Stitch Worsted yarn from WeCrochet for my sweater!
This yarn is very soft and cozy and makes a warm sweater for winter!
You’ll need anywhere from 400 to 2,500 yards of yarn, depending on what size you make.
The children’s pattern comes in sizes 2 to 10. The adult pattern comes in sizes XS to 5X.
The crochet pullover sweater is worked from the top down, with sleeves and trim added at the end.
You will have two collar options to choose from, making this sweater very unisex and great for everyone!
The Savannah Sweater crochet pattern is rated Intermediate in difficulty.
You will need to know how to do the basic crochet stitches, along with front post stitches. You will also need to know a bit about crocheting garments.
