Savannah Tank Top Crochet Pattern

The Savannah Tank crochet pattern is a simple tank top pattern, with tons of fun texture!

Pattern Details

The Savannah Tank crochet pattern is made with worsted weight (#4) yarn. I used Yarnspirations Caron Cotton Painterly Cakes for my sample.

Caron Cotton Painterly Cakes is a 60% cotton, 40% acrylic blend that comes in a variety of self striping colors! I used the colorway Aurora for my tank top, which is a beautiful blend of pastel and bright colored stripes.

Each cake is 481 yards/227 grams. I found these beautiful cakes of yarn at my local Michaels store.

This crochet tank pattern is worked from the top down.

It is rated intermediate in pattern difficulty. You will need to know the basic crochet stitches, plus some basic knowledge of crocheting garments.

The Savannah Tank crochet pattern comes in women’s sizes XS to 3X. You will need approximately 600-1080 yards, depending on which size you make.

You can customize the length of the tank top by simply completing more rounds before adding the trim.

Pattern Notes:

Pattern is in US terms.

Garment is worked continuously in the round using a stitch marker to determine where each round begins. In the few cases where you do join the round, starting chain does not count as first st.

With this stitch pattern, a FPdc will always be worked around a hdc, and a hdc will always be worked in either a FPdc or a dc.

If you get curling around the neckline or armholes, work a round of sc trim around them to combat that.
