This crochet blanket pattern is rated Easy in difficulty level. You will only need to know the basic crochet stitches, as well as the chainless foundation single crochet.

Yarn for the Textured Crochet Blanket Pattern
The Edgewater Blanket is made with worsted weight (#4) yarn. I used Lion Brand Mandala Ombre in the colorway Joy for my sample.
I used 3 skeins or approximately 1019 yards to create a 30″ x 36″ blanket. Use the chart below to determine the yardage for your desired size.

Edgewater Textured Crochet Blanket Pattern
Row 1: FSC 106 (140, 182, 206, 280, 336)
Row 2: Lch, turn, 1 dc in blo of 1st st, *1 dc in flo of next st, 1 dc in blo of next st*, repeat from * across to last st, 1 dc in both loops of last st. | 106 (140, 182, 206, 280, 336)
Rows 3-63 (84, 105, 148, 158, 158): (or to desired length) repeat Row 2.
Fasten off if you do not want to add a trim.
Trim (optional)
Round 1: Ch 1, sc evenly around, working two sc in each corner, join to first st. (st count will vary)
Round 2: Ch 1, 1 blo in each st around, join to first.
Rounds 3-4: repeat Round 2.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
