Woman wearing a lacy crochet sweater, called the Serenity Sweater.

The Serenity Sweater is the perfect blend of comfort and style, designed for those who love the cozy feel of handmade garments with a touch of elegance. This lacy crochet sweater pattern creates a stunning crochet top featuring intricate lace-like stitches.

This crochet sweater is flattering and fun, making it great for any occasion. Dress it up with your favorite skirt or down with a pair of jeans and sandals.

Lacy Crochet Sweater

This lacy crochet sweater is worked flat in two panels and sewn together. Each panel is worked in rows from the bottom up.

Once both panels are crocheted, they are then sewn together along the sides of the sweater, bottom of the sleeves, and top of the sleeves.

The picot trim is then crocheted on at the end.

The Yarn

I used WeCrochet Comfy Sport yarn for this lacy crochet sweater project. The colorway I used is Whiskers.

Comfy Sport is a 75% Pima Cotton, 25% Acrylic blend. It comes in many beautiful colors and is very soft and comfortable against the skin.

Some other great yarns that would work well for this project are:

Shine Sport – 60% Pima Cotton, 40% Modal

Rainbow Bamboo – 60% Viscose, 40% Cotton

Cotton Fair – 52% Cotton, 48% Acrylic
