Pattern Details

The Yarn

The Sadie Shawl crochet pattern uses sport weight (#2) yarn. I’ve recently made a new shawl with Lion Brand Yarn Dotted Line.

**Please note, Dotted Line has since been discontinued.

Some other yarn options I would recommend would be We Crochet Visions Yarn or Premier Cotton Sprouts Stripes.

Like I said above, this shawl pattern comes with instructions for two sizes. You can make it 52″ x 20″ or 60″ x 28″.

The pattern is rated easy in difficulty. However, an advanced beginner could easily make this shawl. The stitches are very basic, and when combined create a beautiful shell style design.

  1. Can you share the multiple count for this stitch? I’m thinking I’d like to make it as a square to add it to a blanket of squares I’m making. It’s a beautiful stitch! Thanks so much!
