The dainty and elegant Sadie stitch combo has been made into a flowing, fun shawl!

This rectangular shaped wrap comes in two sizes, long and extra long, and is the perfect layering piece for spring or summer!

Pattern Details

The Sadie Shawl crochet pattern uses sport weight (#2) yarn. I’ve recently made a new shawl with Lion Brand Yarn Dotted Line.

I really love this yarn for shawls because it has a gradient look to it. It is a true sport (#2) weight. It is 100% acrylic yarn.

Like I said above, this shawl pattern comes with instructions for two sizes. You can make it 52″ x 20″ or 60″ x 28″.

The pattern is rated easy in difficulty. However, an advanced beginner could easily make this shawl. The stitches are very basic, and when combined create a beautiful shell style design.

  1. Can you share the multiple count for this stitch? I’m thinking I’d like to make it as a square to add it to a blanket of squares I’m making. It’s a beautiful stitch! Thanks so much!
