The Tied and True Tee is the perfect basic tee for summer! This crocheted tee is so lightweight and has amazing drape!
Pattern Inspiration
I wanted to make a crochet version of a knotted tee. I wasn’t sure exactly how I was going to accomplish it, but I knew that was the look I wanted.
A fingering weight yarn was perfect for this project. Especially with the herringbone double crochet stitch. It was lightweight but not see through.
I decided on the ruffles on the sleeves at the very end of making this. I just wanted to add a little flare to the sleeves and I love how they turned out!
Pattern Details
This crochet pattern comes in children’s sizes 2-10 and women’s sizes XS-2X in one easy to follow download!
It includes written instructions on how to do the herringbone dc stitch, as well as a video tutorial.
You will also get a video showing you how to style the tee, including how to make the knot! The tee is constructed with 2-3″ of positive ease.
It is worked from the top down with no sewing required. I just love the slight ruffle of the sleeves! It gives it such a feminine touch!

What are the measurements for the women’s sizes? I can’t afford to keep buying patterns that don’t fit. ????
If you click the link to Ravelry or Etsy the actual listing has all the sizes and measurements.
I’m just wondering is a worsted weight yarn always a # 4. You say a light weight worsted. Not sure what that means.
Worsted is always #4 but some are lighter/thinner than others.
