About Dooley
The Dooley scarf is a simple crochet scarf that is great for game day or just keeping warm during cold winters!
This scarf uses the wattle stitch throughout the pattern. I used two colors to add some striping. This would be a great scarf to make in your favorite team’s colors! Even with stripes, the scarf can be reversible by cutting at each color change and weaving in ends.
The Dooley Scarf can easily be adjusted in both width and length to make it customized to anyone, including kids!
The Yarn
I chose to use Wool of the Andes Superwash (#4) from WeCrochet for this project. This yarn is 100% superwash wool. It is warm and cozy and perfect for cold weather makes! It can be machine washed and dried, making it a great yarn for projects that will be gifted to others.
Some great substitutions to use for this project are:
Brava Worsted – 100% premium acrylic
Swish Worsted – 100% merino superwash wool
Heartland – 100% acrylic
