The Cool Beans Tank crochet pattern is a great summer project! This women’s crochet top is lightweight, sturdy, and super stylish!
I first created this beautiful women’s crochet top in June 2015. I have since made myself a new one, with a new yarn that I really love working with.
Pattern Details
The tank uses the aligned bean stitch and a series of simple crochet stitches to create the racer back style tank.
This crochet pattern comes with instructions for women’s size XS to XL.
The Yarn
I used Yarnspirations Caron Cotton Cakes for the sample photographed. Caron Cotton Cakes is a worsted weight (#4) cotton/acrylic blend yarn.
You will need 550 to 1100 yards, depending on which size you make.
It has a really nice soft feeling to it, which sometimes can be unusual with cotton yarns. I find it very comfortable against my skin.
This tank top is a bottom up project with the back panel, straps, and bottom trim added at the end.
It is an intermediate level pattern, simply because it is a garment and does require an adequate amount of crochet knowledge.
You can adjust the thickness of the straps, as well as the length of the overall top.
The Cool Beans Tank is a quick project and great to make for a fun summer event!
