Sarasota Swimsuit Cover

About the Pattern

This coverup has a gorgeous lacy stitch combo that makes it breathable and still comfortable to wear if it gets wet.

This crochet swimsuit cover pattern is an intermediate difficulty level pattern.

It has approximately 6″ of positive ease, to give room in all areas of the body.

This dress is worked from the bottom up in one continuous round, and then slip into two panels to create the armholes. You’ll see the panels together at the top, creating the shoulders and head opening.

The Sarasota Swimsuit Cover pattern is very customizable to suite your preferences. It can be made as long or as short as you prefer, and if you’d like it to be less oversized I’d recommend sizing down.

The Yarn

This crochet dress is made with Premier Yarns Cotton Fair, a sport weight (#2) yarn.

Summer is HOT here in Florida, so I’m always looking for lightweight yarns to make something I can actually wear down here! Cotton fair is such a great cotton blend yarn for hot days by the pool!
