Pattern Details
The Camellia Mittens are crochet mittens that are worked from the bottom up. You’ll start with the ribbed cuff and then work the stitch combo to the top. At the top you’ll decrease to close and then work the thumb.
This pattern comes in 5 sizes: Toddler, Child, Teen, Adult Small, and Adult Large.
The pattern includes stitch definitions and a link to a video that shows you how to decrease your mittens to close.
The Yarn
For these crochet mittens I used Paintbox Yarn Simply DK (#3) from LoveCrafts. This yarn is 100% acrylic and great for hats, blankets, and mittens! It can be machine washed and dried, and comes in a ton of beautiful colors!
I used the colorway Jam (73) for my mittens, because for the collection we decided to use jewel tones for our designs. Simply DK has jewel tones, pastels, neutrals, and more! So many choices!
Yarn Alternatives
Some other great yarns that would work for these crochet mittens are:
Swish Dk – a cozy wool yarn that’s perfect for cold weather!
Mellowspun DK – another 100% acrylic yarn that comes in many beautiful colors!
