The Dude Hat and Scarf Set is a simple, no frills, winter crochet set that the guys in your family will love!
This men’s crochet hat and scarf design came to be because I was getting asked to create more designs for men and boys.
It seems that there are not as many options for guys when it comes to crochet pieces. So I wanted to create a line that was specifically for males! You will find patterns for both adults and children in this collection.
This crochet hat and scarf set is great for the whole family. It comes in children’s sizes all the way up to adult. It would make a great gift for the men in your family, or even would be good for selling at markets and craft fairs.
This crochet hat and scarf pattern requires worsted weight (#4) yarn. I used Knit Picks Brava Worsted for the sample.
If you’re looking for something soft and comfortable I think you’ll like this yarn. Brava Worsted is 100% acrylic. I love it also because of it’s amazing price and color choices.
You’ll find the pattern rated Easy in difficulty. The stitch combo is very simple and easy to remember.
The guys in your family will love how nice this looks and you will love how easy it is to make!
The men’s crochet hat is made from the bottom up with the brim created first. You will then work up the hat to the top, and then start decreasing. The top of the hat is cinched closed.
The men’s crochet scarf is worked in rows until desired length. Scarves are typically made the length of the person wearing it, in inches. So it can easily be customized.
The Dude Hat and Scarf crochet pattern comes in 4 sizes, ranging from toddler to adult.
I think this would make an adorable matching hat and scarf set for father and son.
This set may be called the DUDE Hat and Scarf set, however, I think it would look just as nice on a woman! In other words, this is a unisex hat and scarf set.
