The Blossoming Sprigs Cardigan is the perfect outerwear garment for any time of year! This cardigan features the sprig stitch and is worked in panels, with sleeves and trim added at the end.
Pattern Details
This women’s crochet cardigan is a textured, boxy style cardigan with slightly oversized sleeves.
The cardigan is worked in 3 main panels that are sewn together along the sides and top. Then, sleeves and trim are added to the panels.
This crochet cardigan pattern comes with instructions for women’s sizes XS-5X.
The Yarn
For this crochet project I used Heatherly Worsted (#4) from WeCrochet. Heatherly is 80% acrylic, 20% merino wool and comes in 20 beautiful colorways.
This yarn is a wonderful yarn for most garments. It’s soft, easy to work with, and can be machine washed and dried.
I chose the colorway Key Lime for my crochet cardigan.
A few other yarn options for this crochet cardigan pattern are:
Brava Worsted (#4) – 100% acrylic
Basic Stitch (#4) – 100% acrylic
Swish Worsted (#4) – 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool
