The Teeny Little Preemie Beanie is part of this year’s Preemie Crochet Challenge, an annual blog hop of patterns that are great for preemie babies. They can be donated or gifted and made to support new parents with a preemie.
Pattern Details
This simple crochet preemie beanie comes in four sizes, ranging from just 2-3lbs, to 6-8lbs. It is worked from the top down, in the round, using beginner friendly stitches.
The Teeny Little Preemie Beanie is made with worsted weight (#4) yarn. I chose to use WeCrochet Brava Worsted for my beanies. Brava Worsted is a 100% premium acrylic yarn that is very soft. It can be machine washed and dried, making it easy to use for gifts and donations. It also comes in a large variety of colorways.
