The Dallas Blanket crochet pattern is a gorgeous crochet throw style blanket that uses the tulip stitch to give it it’s look.
This blanket makes a wonderful gift and can be made in different sizes to suit your preferences!
Pattern Inspiration
I had already designed the Dallas Hat and Scarf and was so in love with the stitch that I wanted to make a blanket! I was on a blanket making kick and was so excited to dive into this one!
This simple but fun stitch is perfect for a crochet throw, so that’s exactly what I set out to do.
The stitch multiples for this blanket make it easy to customize and make a blanket in any size you prefer! I love to make blankets that are easy and repetitive!
Pattern Details
This blanket can be made using any worsted weight (#4) yarn. You’ll need approximately 1700 yards.
A great yarn for this project would be Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran. It is 100% acrylic and very soft and sturdy.
You can make this in as many colors as you like, in either a color block or striping pattern, or you can just make it in one solid color. The possibilities are endless!
The pattern instructions are for a blanket measuring 40″ x 48″ in size. However, the pattern includes the stitch multiples so you can customize it to any size you prefer.
You’ll find that this pattern is rated Easy in pattern difficulty. You just need to know the very basic crochet stitches to complete this project.
