Pattern Details
The Ferguson Scarf crochet pattern is a beginner friendly project, using just two main stitches!
The Yarn
This scarf pattern calls for 250-450 yards of worsted weight (#4) yarn. I used Lion Brand Heartland Yarn. It is one of my favorite worsted weight yarns!
Heartland is a very soft and beautiful yarn! It comes in a large variety of gorgeous, rich colors! It is 100% acrylic and easy to wash and dry. It’s a huge go-to yarn in my stash!

Ferguson Scarf Crochet Pattern
Materials
250-450 yards of worsted weight yarn.
Shown here: Lion Brand Heartland in Kings Canyon
K (6.5mm) hook
Scissors
Darning needle

13 fsc= 4” (Gauge is not super important. If chaining, chain until you reached desired width, ending on an odd number).
Sizing
Adult 60” x 10”
Child 45” x 6”
Toddler 36” x 6”
Pattern Notes
Starting chain does not count as beginning stitch unless stated otherwise throughout the pattern.
Stitches Needed & Abbreviations
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
dc- double crochet
fsc- foundation chainless single crochet
sk- skip
st- stitch
Child and Toddler
FSC 18 (or chain 19 and sc into 2nd ch from hook)
Row 1: Ch 1, turn, sk 1st st, (sc, dc) in next st, *sk 1, (sc, dc) into next st*, repeat across. (18)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sk 1st st, (sc, dc) in next st, *sk 1, (sc, dc) in next*, repeat across. (18)
Repeat row 2 until scarf is approximately 45” for child size and 36” for toddler size. You can sew the ends together for an infinity scarf or just weave in ends for a regular scarf. NEVER leave a child or toddler unattended while wearing this or any other item around their neck.

Fsc 32 (or chain 33 and sc into 2nd ch from hook)
Row 1: Ch 1, turn, sk 1st st, (sc, dc) in next st, *sk 1, (sc, dc) into next st*, repeat across. (32)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sk 1st st, (sc, dc) in next st, *sk 1, (sc, dc) in next*, repeat across. (32)
Repeat row 2 until scarf is approximately 60” or desired length. Fasten off. You can sew the ends together for an infinity scarf or just weave in ends for a regular scarf.
